Hotel Splendid is 3 km from the beaches in Posillipo and a 5 minute tram ride (the station is 200 meters from the hotel) from Mergellina where the scenic stroll of Via Caracciolo begins, and where hydrofoils leave for Capri, Ischia, Procida and the Sorrento Coast.
Vomero, a residential neighborhood of Naples which has high end boutiques, is 2 km away and can be reached with bus C31 which stops at the entrance to the private drive of the hotel.
To get to the historical centre of Naples, which is 5 km away, and to visit Piazza del Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale and Castel Nuovo (also known as Maschio Angioino) you can take the tram and bus (numbers R3 or 140) or the subway (line 2).

By plane
Naples' Capodichino Airport is located 20 km from Hotel Splendid.
- To get to the hotel, take the Airbus shuttle for Stazione Centrale (Piazza Garibaldi).
- From here follow directions for 'by train'.
By train
- From Stazione Centrale (Piazza Garibaldi) go to the underground level of the station and take the subway line 2.
- Get off at Piazza Amedeo, then take bus C27 and get off after around 15 minutes on Via Manzoni, the stop is in front of the hotel's private drive.
By car
- From the motorway take the Naples bypass (tangenziale in Italian - A 56 is a toll road) and exit at exit number 9 Vomero
- Stay on the left and head towards Via Cilea
- At the exit, go right, continue for 2 km (Via Cilea becomes Corso Europa).
- At the end of Corso Europa at the 4th signal (starting from the exit from the bypass) turn left on Via Manzoni
- After a few hundred metres you'll reach Hotel Splendid at number 96
- Drive down the private drive to the hotel. This part of the drive has arrows to indicate the way.
